内容記述 | Organizational identification refers to the phenomenon in which employees identify themselves with the organization they currently work for. Although organizational identification is an important factor that influences or is influenced by other factors, employees can have a relationship with and identify their selves with various levels of societal systems. This study empirically examines whether organizational and workgroup identifications have different effects on attitudinal or behavioral factors. A stepwise regression analysis of data collected from 312 employees in Japan revealed the significant positive impact of workgroup identification on work satisfaction and pay satisfaction and the positive influence of organizational identification on organizational commitment and pay satisfaction. Workgroup identification also impacted behaviors such as organizational citizenship behavior and in-role behaviors, but the two types of identif ication did not influence organizational retaliatory behavior. | |||||||
